Short & Inspiring story on Talent Management
My child has a very good hand writing and I always admire the patience she holds to gracefully write each and every letter. This morning, I really got annoyed as the hand writing was so bad and she gave reasons that it is due to the pencil. I was wondering how, so I got the pencil and noticed and it was blunt in the tip and slightly broken. Once I sharpened it, she was found with good hand writing. Why should I write a post on it? 1. When there is a poor performance, the employee is not always the reason. 2. When a good performer slips sometimes, check if the top layer is blunt or has any other issues. 3. When there is a reason given by an employee, listen before you decide. He might be right. 4. Once in a while invest time on sharpening our materials (process, policies, norms etc). Have a meet and check the employees if the management has to notice any blunt tips and broken top layers. Have a Wonderful Day! Copied from other source.. Full credits to whomsoever...
